Accessibility Statement
Last updated October 8, 2026
Counter Top Sales wants everyone to be able to learn about our countertop materials and services and to request an estimate. This statement describes the steps we have taken to make this website usable for people with disabilities, where we know there is more work to do, and how to tell us about a problem.
Our goal
We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA as our target. These guidelines are a widely used standard for making web content easier to use for people who are blind or have low vision, are deaf or hard of hearing, or have mobility, cognitive or other disabilities.
We have not had the site independently audited or certified, and we do not claim that every page fully meets WCAG 2.2 AA. We treat accessibility as ongoing work and fix issues as we find them.
What we have built in
The site was built with the following measures in place:
- Semantic HTML: pages use real headings, landmarks, lists, buttons and links so that screen readers and other assistive technology can understand the structure of each page.
- Keyboard navigation: menus, links, buttons and form fields can be reached and used with a keyboard alone, in a logical order.
- Visible focus: when you move through the page with a keyboard, the element that has focus is clearly outlined.
- Reduced motion: if your device or browser is set to reduce motion, the site turns off its scroll-triggered animations and stops background video from playing automatically.
- Alternative text: images include text descriptions so people using screen readers know what they show.
- Labeled forms: every field in our quote and contact forms has a visible label that is connected to the field, so assistive technology announces what each field is for.
- Color contrast: text and interface colors are chosen to meet the WCAG 2.2 AA contrast targets.
Known limitations
Some parts of the site come from third parties. The chat widget is provided and loaded by SymplerCMS, and we do not control its code or design, so its accessibility may differ from the rest of the site. If you have trouble using the chat, our quote and contact forms are another way to reach us.
Photos of natural stone are meant to show color and pattern. Because every slab is different, a written description cannot fully capture what a material looks like. We are happy to describe materials in more detail when you contact us.
Tips for using the site
Most browsers let you zoom pages and enlarge text. To turn on reduced motion, use the accessibility or display settings on your phone, tablet or computer. The site will respect that setting automatically.
Feedback and help
If you run into a barrier on this site, or if you need information in a different format, please let us know through the contact form on this website. It helps to tell us which page you were on, what you were trying to do, and what device, browser or assistive technology you were using.
We read this feedback and use it to improve the site. If the problem prevents you from using the contact form itself, please try again later or from a different device, and we will work to fix the issue.
Updates to this statement
We will review and update this statement as we make changes to the site. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
